This Privacy Policy applies to JOdysseyMusic.com (the “Site”), the official website for J Odyssey Music. We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to operate the Site, respond to inquiries and send updates to people who choose to subscribe.

This Policy covers information handled through this Site. It does not control the privacy practices of external platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Formspree or other third-party services that you may visit from the Site.
Information We Collect
Contact inquiries. If you use the contact form, we may receive information you enter, such as your name, email address, subject, organization or message.
Email-list subscriptions. If you join the J Odyssey email list, we receive the email address you submit and the consent confirmation associated with that signup.
Technical information. Our hosting provider and form-processing providers may automatically process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, timestamps, referral information and security logs as needed to deliver and protect their services.
How We Use Information
We may use information to respond to inquiries; process booking, press or business messages; deliver music, release, video and live-event updates to subscribers; maintain Site security; diagnose technical issues; prevent abuse; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Site.
Formspree & Other Service Providers
The Site currently uses Formspree to process contact-form and email-list submissions. Information you submit through those forms is transmitted to Formspree for processing and delivery. Formspree operates under its own privacy and security terms.
We may also rely on hosting, security, email, analytics or technical service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the Site. Providers receive information only as needed for the services they perform, subject to their own terms and applicable law.
Your Choices & Privacy Rights
You can choose not to submit optional information. Marketing emails should include an unsubscribe method where required. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we reasonably control, subject to identity verification and applicable legal exceptions.
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may provide additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection. We will evaluate verified requests in accordance with applicable law.

YouTube API Services & Google Data
Use of YouTube API Services. J Star Entertainment LLC operates an internal publishing tool known as the J Odyssey Short Automation. This tool uses the YouTube Data API v3 and Google OAuth 2.0 to perform authorized publishing functions for the official J Odyssey YouTube channel.
Information accessed. When an authorized company operator connects the YouTube account, the API Client may access limited YouTube account and channel information necessary to verify that the authenticated account corresponds to the intended J Odyssey channel. This may include the authenticated channel's identifier, channel title and other information returned by the YouTube API for the authorized operation.
Uploading content. The API Client uses YouTube API Services to upload company-controlled videos and associated metadata, including titles, descriptions, tags, category information and publishing settings, to the authorized J Odyssey YouTube channel.
Google OAuth credentials. The API Client uses Google OAuth 2.0 authorization. J Odyssey Music and J Star Entertainment LLC do not request, receive or store the authorized operator's Google or YouTube password. OAuth access and refresh tokens may be securely stored on company-controlled systems solely to maintain the authorized YouTube publishing workflow.
How YouTube API data is used. Information obtained through YouTube API Services is used only as reasonably necessary to authenticate the authorized account, verify the correct channel, perform requested publishing operations, maintain the security and reliability of the internal automation, and troubleshoot authorized API activity. We do not sell YouTube API data or provide it to unrelated third parties for advertising, profiling or data-broker purposes.
Google privacy practices. YouTube API Services are provided by Google/YouTube and are also subject to Google's privacy practices. You can review the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access. An authorized Google account holder may revoke the API Client's access through the Google Account connections and permissions controls. Revoking authorization prevents the API Client from continuing to perform authorized YouTube API operations unless access is granted again.
Deletion of authorized API data. You may contact us through the official J Odyssey Music contact page to request deletion of YouTube API data or locally stored authorization information that we reasonably control. If authorization is revoked, deletion is requested, or we can no longer verify that authorization remains valid, applicable stored authorization credentials and YouTube API data under our control will be deleted within 30 days, as required by the applicable YouTube API Services policies.
Revocation or deletion of locally stored authorization data does not by itself delete videos or other content previously published to YouTube. Content already hosted by YouTube remains subject to the settings and controls available through the applicable YouTube account unless separately removed.
Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of this Site, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending highly sensitive information through ordinary website forms.
Policy Updates
We may revise this Privacy Policy as the Site, our services or privacy requirements evolve. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes may be highlighted on the Site where appropriate.
